The New Beginnings Distribution Center operates by
the scripture: 
“ For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat; I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and
ye took me in:  Naked, and ye clothed me:  I was
sick,and ye visited me:  I was in prison and ye came
unto me.”                              Matthew  25:35-36


The New Beginnings Distribution Center has been in
operation for the past 16 years and we are currently
housed in a 10,000 square foot facility in Bakers-
field,California. We operate solely on donations and
are100% staffed by volunteers.
We currently serve over 130 ministries and non-
profit groups throughout Kern County. We also
partner with Operation Blessings, local Food
Banks and other corporate donors to provide
food, clothing, and other necessities to those
in need throughout our community.

Any approved ministry or group has access to these items through our “Build A Pallet” program.  Please note that
some items are subject to the availability of our corporate donors and various non-profit organizations that we
partner with in our efforts to serve you.
Please check with our Distribution Center staff for more information on the “Build A Pallet Program”.   You can become one of our approved ministries and/or agencies by  following  the easy steps outlined in the next




Three easy steps to follow:

1. Complete a Stewardship Packet which includes a  release of liability form and a product tracking  request to be completed by your pastor and/or organization leader.

2. Provide us with proof of your organization’s non-profit status (a copy of your 50l (c)3 form.

3. Provide us with contact information (mailing address, email address, telephone numbers, etc.) and a list of persons authorized by your organization to obtain products.


Once these three easy steps are completed, you will immediately be notified of  your approved status.




In addition to the general merchandise, we also
have a program entitled "Fresh Rescue," which
is made possible by our local Albertson's and
FoodsCo stores making available surplus food
that we retrieve from their various locations. We
then share these food items (fresh produce,
meat, dairy products, and bakery goods) with specified ministries on a weekly basis. This program currently has a waiting list. Please check with NBDC staff for more details.
