Stacy Morris, Pastor . . . married for 35 years, involved in full time ministry for 20 years and have served the Lord for 27 years. I have 3 sons, Troy Jr., Catlin & Noah, 4 grandchildren, 3 girls, Ashlin, Matia, & Julissa and 1 boy Troy the 3rd, exciting!

I am Spirit filled, believe in all the gifts of the Spirit, and love to be used by God. I love to exhort, encourage, uplift and stir up or challenge all those desperately seeking a more intimate relationship with God. My desire is to see men and women set free, healed and delivered no longer being bound, tormented, sick or lame. But walking in truth and victory. My calling is to serve, my responsibility is to be pleasing to God, and my heart is for people to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6 – And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Jesus Christ returns.

Troy Morris Jr., Associate Pastor . . .

Cat Morris, Associate Pastor. . .  I am Cat. I have been married to Troy Jr.(TJ) for 13 years and we have two beautiful and blessed children: Troy III (Dex) 11 years old and Matai 9 years old. I began attending New Beginnings when I was 16 and 16 years later I am very honored to continue to call this place my home. TJ and I lead Vow Keepers, a couples support ministry that meets monthly and encourages couples to grow in their understanding of one another in a fun group setting. I enjoy being a part of the worship team and singing unto the Lord daily and teaching the children to sing and worship on Wednesday evenings. I also just finished teaching the PreK/Kindergarten class this year and although I will miss teaching those beautiful children, I am excited to have been called in a new direction along side of my husband whom I adore. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what I find most important in life, for without him there is no life. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. I can only hope and pray that others will receive Jesus and obtain that same relationship. My hearts desire is that I will live such a life that others will see Jesus through me and want to come to know him because of it. Psalm 34: 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Don Smith, Care Pastor . . . I have been serving the Lord for 32 years, being in full time ministry for 18 of those years. Additionally, I have been with Troy and Stacy Morris for 21 years and was also involved with the birth of New Beginnings Christian Church in 1995.

My ministerial duties at New Beginnings Christian Church include teaching a New Beginners class on Sabbath (Saturday) morinings, directing the School of Ministry (this class gives those that are called into the ministry the opportunity to earn their Ministerial License), and fielding communications to staff and leadership at the New Beginnings offices during the week.

The Word of God says many are called but few are chosen. I have been Blessed to be called of God to teach, but I have been chosen of God to be PaPa Don (They will know you by your love one for another). Having been here from the beginning, it is my privelege to be around the children of the children we began with, and to watch their spiritual growth. This has become the joy of my life !

Favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6 – And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Jesus Christ returns.

Ruth Reyes, Worship Leader . . . Praise The Lord Church! I thank God for the awesome privilege he has given to me to serve him. Being born and raised in believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior gave me the opportunities and privileges, I have held for almost 45 years.  Music has always been my passion.  I strongly believe that everything that has breath, (everything on land, in the sea, and in the entire universe,) should PRAISE HIM ! Psalm 150.

Over thirteen years ago I came to New Beginnings, I was not sure if this is where God wanted me to be. (I was helping a small Baptist church with music at the time). So after praying for the Father to show me, I attended NBCC for a month and my answer came. I went and spoke to the Worship leader, started playing percussion, and have been involved with the Music Ministry ever since. I thank God that He has kept me even though at times it has been and is very challenging; He has been faithful in “pushing” me through. About a year later I stared working at the church in the ministry of cleaning. Later other opportunities came my way to work and serve in other areas. I thank God for Pastor Troy and Stacy for their faithfulness in service to the Lord.  Through it all the Church still stands and in the end it will endure. Thank you for the opportunity and privilege to serve and labor along with you and the Church.  TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!  AMEN

Favorite scripture is Psalms 150:6  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Elders and Deacons . . . The picture to the left is of our Elders and Deacons. The Elders and Deacons are those men called of God to serve the flock. They are to be an example while ministering in whatever capacity the Spirit of God calls them into. These men are the ones week end and week out are involved in praying, encouraging, and building up the New Beginnings Christian Church fellowship.

(Acts 11:30)   Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul

(Acts 14:23)   And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

(1Timothy 3 )    (8)   Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre.       (9)  Holding the mystery of the feaith in a pure conscience.
